About Me

I've been obsessed with animals since I was six, flipping through old National Geographic issues and getting lost in snow leopards I was pretty sure I'd never see in person. That obsession never really went away, it just went quiet for a while. It's back now, and this time I've got a camera in my hands.

Every animal gets the same care and attention from me, whether it's a leopard moving through golden grass at dawn or a mallard paddling around the lake in Prospect Park. I think of it as giving overlooked wildlife the NatGeo treatment, because most of it is overlooked and all of it deserves better.

Wherever I'm shooting, I stick to the same rules. No playback calls, no bait, no messing with an animal's day just to get a photo. If I can't get it honestly, I don't get it.

I'm based in Brooklyn, still learning constantly, and always looking for the next thing worth paying attention to, big or small, exotic or two blocks from home.
