I've been obsessed animals since I was a kid, watching Free Willy until I broke the tape and flipping through old National Geographic issues. Life had other plans, and I took a detour into childhood education and corporate America, but I am back with a camera in my hands.

My philosophy is that every kind of animal gets the same care and attention, whether it's a leopard moving through golden grass at dawn or a mallard paddling around the lake in Prospect Park. I think of it as giving overlooked wildlife the NatGeo treatment.

I'm based in Brooklyn, still learning constantly, and always looking for the next thing worth paying attention to, big or small, exotic or two blocks from home.
